Aims

The aim of the Australasian Association of Buddhist Studies is to promote the academic study of Buddhism in the Australasian region. It is anticipated that this will be achieved:

• through the organization of events, such as seminars and conferences
• by making available information and resources relevant to Buddhist studies
• by fostering links between scholars and students within the region
• by fostering links between different disciplines working in the field of Buddhist studies
• by fostering links between local and international scholars
